Koratala Siva worked hard and proved his mettle as a writer initially after which he made his debut as a director with Mirchi which ended up as a blockbuster. His second movie Srimanthudu ended up as the biggest hit in Tollywood (exclude Baahubali) after which Koratala Siva became the talk of Tollywood. Leaving everyone in surprise, his third movie Janatha Garage too ended up as a blockbuster and is the highest grosser in the career of NTR till date. Koratala impressed Mahesh once again with a script and the film has been launched officially recently.
The regular shoot of the film will start early next year and Koratala Siva is said to have charged Rs 13 crores for the film. However the latest update is that now he is in plans to acquire the overseas rights of the film instead of charging Rs 13 crores which left the makers in shock. Mahesh’s films have been minting huge figures across overseas irrespective of the film’s result and Koratala’s calculation left the makers in shock.
Mahesh’s movie will sure mint a minimum of Rs 15 crores and Koratala is also said to have quoted to share half of the profits that the film gets after crossing Rs 15 crores in overseas. The makers are yet to decide about this. Koratala Siva already made his place second in the list of top Tollywood directors after SS Rajamouli.
