Recently, at an event of ‘Kota Bommali PS’, producer Bunny Vasu said that the film is conscious of the fact that we are in a new stage of democracy. “Some dialogues in our film are hard-hitting. Those lines are a general commentary on politics that is stacked against the system,” the producer added. “The system has come to suffer due to the way politics have been done,” he added.
A couple of dialogues in the film’s title song suggest that the political survival thriller is not going to shy away from taking on the established political system. The question is: Will the film be seen as politically biased or neutral?
In recent times, we have seen ‘Jawan’. A section of the audience felt that SRK’s film was against the Modi government at the Centre. Another section argued that the film is against all political parties. What tone will ‘Kota Bommali PS’ strike? We have to wait and watch.
Srikanth Meka and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are seen as cops in this film which also features Rahul Vijay, Murali Sharma and Shivani Rajasekhar. Directed by Teja Marni and produced by GA 2 Pictures, the survival thriller will arrive at the cinemas on November 24 in a big way.
