Creative director Krishna Vamsi is almost out of reach in Tollywood after a series of debacles. His recent work has been badly criticized and he has been on a break from the past one year. The versatile director tasted success last with Chandamama which released in 2007. The latest update is that Krishna Vamsi is all set to remake Marathi blockbuster Natsamrat. The film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar featured Nana Patekar in the lead role. Natsamrat is about the life story of a stage actor who retires from acting but struggles to forget his memories and bonding with stage and theatre acts.
Veteran actor Prakash Raj has been roped in to reprise the role of Nana Patekar. Prakash Raj has been in search for roles that elevates him as an actor. Though Dil Raju did not like the script of Hello Guru Prema Kosame, it was Prakash Raj who convinced Raju as most of the film revolves around his role. In the similar way, when he was approached for Natsamrat, Prakash Raj signed the film on spot without second thought.
