This rumour has been popping up several times ever since BJP came into power in center in 2014. However, each time when governor positions in various states are being filled by center, Krishnam Raju’s name will not appear. But now, as the elections are approaching fast and as the tenures of some governors getting over soon, again speculations started in media circles about Krishnam raju becoming governor this time.

As per this latest rumors, BJP is planning to field Prabhas in the upcoming MLA elections in Andhra Pradesh and also to appoint Krishnam Raju as the Governor of the state. Moreover, Governor Narasimhan’s office tenure also getting completed on June 2, 2014. But BJP may replace him even before his term is fully over. So, as per the reports, BJP wanted to pull Prabhas, the Bahubali star, into his fold by offering him MLA ticket and offering Governor post to his uncle Krishnam Raju.

As per the same reports, Amit Shah is likely to invite both Krishnam Raju and Prabhas to Delhi for further discussion on this. Krishnam Rajuaju has several times in the past expressed his interest to get appointed to the constitutional post and so he may accept if such proposal comes from BJP. But Prabhas contesting for MLA post and that too from BJP is very much doubtful. If Prabhas doesn’t accept BJP’s offer, and also doesn’t give any commitment to campaign for BJP in 2019 election, will BJP continue with their proposal of appointing Krishnam Raju as governor – is another million dollar question.
