Telangana state IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao has sent a strong warning to the TSRTC. The move came after a passenger brought the telecast of ‘Krishnarjuna Movie’ in the TSRTC Garuda Bus. The best part is that Krishnarjuna Yuddham released on Friday, the 13th of April. And this incident took place on 15th April, 2 days after the release of the movie.
The passenger tweeted questioning how the government can aim to curb piracy among citizens if government organizations like TSRTC are indulging in the same. He also tagged KTR’s official twitter handle with a screenshot of the movie.
It did not take long for KTR to react strongly. The minister condemned the action of the respective TSRTC Garuda bus employees and termed it ‘irresponsible’ on the part of the TSRTC bus staff. KTR requested TSRTC JMD to make sure to act and prevent recurrence of this kind of incidents in the future.
Putting aside everything, the government agencies should carry out thorough investigation into the matter, and trace the origins of the pirated movie.
That’s extremely irresponsible on the part of the @TSRTCHQ staff of this bus. Request JMD of @TSRTCHQ to make sure to act and prevent recurrence https://t.co/lR2Ga8Wy70
