The chief minister of Telangana Mr. K.Chandrasekhara Rao at taken as much as Rs. 1.07 crore of loans from his son Mr. KTR and daughter-in-law Ms. Sailima. The affidavit submitted to the Election Commission by Mr. KTR reveals the information.
The affidavit also says that Mr. KCR took Rs. 82.82 lakh of loan from KTR and Rs. 24.65 lakh from Sailima.
Similarly, Mr. KTR revealed in the affidavit that his family has about Rs. 84.5 lakh of annual income and the entire income was being generated from agriculture. While he is gaining Rs. 59.85 lakh from agriculture, his Sailima’s annual income is reported as Rs. 24.65 lakh. The couple has 36 acre of land in Yerravalli and 23.09 acre of agriculture land in Janvada village of Sankarpally mandal in Rangreddy district.
Rajagopal Reddy is richest politician in Telangana
The affidavits of candidates, who are in poll-fight in Telangana, have revealed that many of them are billionaires. Congress leader Mr. Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, who is contesting from Munugodu segment in Nalgonda District from Mahakutami/Prajakutami, has declared the value of his movable and immovable assets as Rs. 366 crore and he stood top in the richest politicians in Telangana state.
After Rajagopal Reddy, Mr. Marri Janardhan Reddy from TRS party who is contesting from Nagarkurnool has Rs. 159 crore of properties. After these two politicians, Mr. Yoganand (Serilingampally BJP) has declared his assets of worth Rs. 147 crore including 6kg of gold ornaments followed by Khammam Prajakutami candidate Mr. Nama Nageswara Rao (Rs. 141 crore), TRS candidate from Sanatnagar Talasani Srinivas Yadav (Rs. 76 crore), Prajakutami’s Paleru candidate Mr. K. Upender Reddy (Rs. 71 crore), Mr. Kottha Amarender Reddy from Wanaparthy from TRS Party (Rs. 57.93 crore and Mr. Danam Nagender Reddy from Khairatabad segment from TRS (Rs. 72 crore).
Majority of Candidates are having assets from Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 40 crore and about 50 per cent of candidates have less than Rs. 1 crore assets.
