BRS working president KT Rama Rao warned Telangana Police and Government officers of dire consequences, if they resort to oppressive acts against BRS leaders and cadre. Speaking at Rythu Poru Bata farmers meeting in Adilabad on Thursday, KTR delivered a filmy-style warning to Police and Government officials.

“Some Police officers have been illegally arresting BRS workers and threatening, if they question Congress Government’s failures and misdeeds. Some officers have been acting subservient to Congress leaders and silencing people and Opposition parties cadre, if anyone questions Government’s misdeeds. What’s unfortunate is, police have filed case on a helpless elderly person Gangannna, when he expressed anger over demolition of his house by HYDRA,” said KT Rama Rao speaking at public meeting in Adilabad.

“But I’m reminding all the police officers and government staff troubling and abusing BRS cadres that we will pay back with interest. Whoever it may be, ..constable, or SI, or CI or SP or Collector. I’m directing BRS leaders to make a list of them. We will pay back with interest, once we come back to power,” thundered KTR, delivering a filmy-style warning to Police and Government officials blindly toeing ruling party’s line.

KTR stressed that Police and Government officials should act according to the rules and law and not act subservient to the ruling party.
