Superstar Rajinikanth complained of chest pain last night and he was admitted to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. The hospital authorities made sure that Rajinikanth is doing well. The latest health bulletin has been released and it says “Rajinikanth has successfully undergone an elective procedure during which a stent was placed near his lower abdominal area. The procedure was carried out by a team of three specialty doctors in a cath lab. Currently, he is stable and is being kept under observation . He will be recuperating at the hospital for the next 2-3 days before being discharged.

The veteran actor will take rest for a few weeks before returning back to work. His upcoming movie Vettaiyan is slated for October 10th release. The film is carrying good expectations. Rajinikanth has been in Vizag from the past one month and he is shooting for his upcoming movie Coolie in the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj. The big-budget attempt is slated for 2025 release.
