Lingamaneni Ramesh, Executive Chairman, Lingamaneni Estates and Projects Pvt Ltd (LEPL), has launched a bitter counter attack on the ruling YCP. It is quite unusual for an industrialist to openly come into public about his disappointment about the working of a Chief Minister. Ramesh dashed off a letter to CM Jaganmohan Reddy on the needless political controversy over demolition of his legally constructed guest house on Krishna Karakatta. He asked CM why it was made such a big issue just because Ex CM Chandrababu Naidu is staying there.
Lingamaneni expressed his total dissatisfaction against Jagan’s secret and unofficial orders. Because of CM’s oral orders, hundreds of mandal and local level government officials are probing details of properties acquired by Ramesh. Lingamaneni clarified to Jagan that neither himself nor his family members had not acquired any new land nor started any new project in Amaravati area.
He further told Jagan that he gave his guest house to the then CM just because the government asked for it due to lack of government facilities in Vijayawada area. The industrialist told CM that under LEPL banner, he started a huge housing project named Rain Tree Park with international collaboration from a Malaysian company. This was a bold venture taken up prior to separate Andhra and Amaravati.
He told Jagan that the government’s actions are causing anguish to his family which is committed to development of Vijayawada region.
