TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh on Saturday condemned the attack on TDP activists in Chittoor district. He alleged that the activists of Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy have attacked the TDP activists in Sugalimitta of Punganuru mandal on Friday.
Lokesh said that the TDP activists were taking out cycle rallies from Srikakulam to Kuppam in support of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, who was arrested by the State CID officials in the skill development scam.
The TDP general secretary said that the TDP activists were holding protests across the state in support of Chandrababu Naidu. However, the police on one side and the ruling YSR Congress leaders on the other were attacking the TDP leaders and activists.
“Cycling is also a law-and-order problem in the regime of psycho chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy,” Lokesh said in a social media post. He said that the Minister Peddireddy’s supporters have attacked the cycling TDP activists in Sugalimitta village.
Lokesh told the party leaders across the state to continue holding protests against the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu. He also wanted the TDP rank and file to come in support of Chandrababu Naidu in the jail.
He said that justice will prevail and Chandrababu Naidu would come out of the false cases filed against him by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government. He said that people in the state would throw this government in the Bay of Bengal during the impending general election scheduled in March-April 2024.
He appealed to the people of the state to condemn the illegal arrest of Chandrababu Naidu and rally around the TDP leaders.
