Maharshi has ended up its run Worldwide with a distributor share of 101.6 Cr. It stands at All Time Top 5 Worldwide & ends up as fifth film to collect over 100cr distributor share. The film is a profitable venture for all the buyers except Ceeded, Nellore & Overseas. Both Ceeded & Overseas distributors have lost about 2 Cr. The film got benefited by movie vacuum from the release day till the end of summer as there was no alternate film in the market for the movie goers. Still the film has incurred losses in few territories in domestic markets. Nevertheless, the film can be called as a Hit as it has done good to excellent business in remaining markets. The film is a Non-Baahubali in Nizam, All Time Top 4 in UA, Krishna & All Time Top 5 in Guntur, East , West. Previously 25th films of hero’s like NTR (Nannaku Prematho) & Pawan Kalyan (Agnyaathavaasi) failed to get the Hit tag or at least an Above Average tag but Maharshi has succeeded to end up as a Hit.
