Superstar Mahesh Babu seems to be on a no – holds-barred approach for his silver jubilee film Maharshi. He has taken promotions very seriously and is going all out to take the film deep into audience even though it has completed one week. Mahesh was supposed to leave on a holiday with his family. However, he cancelled the foreign trip and decided to promote the film as better as he could to ensure that it holds well at the box office in the second week.
Given the long Summer season and due to no heavy competition at box office, Maharshi has managed to collect good revenues in the first week despite mixed reviews and word of mouth. Now, the film need to perform well in the second week so that buyers enter the safe zone. So, Mahesh is going all out to promote the film by interacting with media and audience. He has given back to back interviews, met farmers and interacted with students as part of promotions. A grand success meet is going to be held this weekend and Maharshi makers are hoping that the strong promotions will boost the collections in the second week.
