Superstar Mahesh Babu’s dream of collaborating with India’s top director SS Rajamouli is not fructifying anytime soon. He is currently shooting for Anil Ravipudi’s “Sarileru Neekevvaru”. Rajamouli on his part is busy filming his magnum opus “RRR” with NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles.
As per the original plan, Rajamouli would team up with Mahesh Babu next year. Hoping that Jakkanna would ask his dates in the second half of 2020, Mahesh Babu has not confirmed any director. He is waiting for clarity. But if media reports are to be believed, “RRR” will not hit the screens next year. Rajamouli will be occupied with “RRR” till summer 2021.
The superstar who has been waiting for Rajamouli almost a decade now reconsidering what he should do next. Sandeep Vanga of “Arjun Reddy” was to direct Mahesh Babu but the young director has signed another Hindi film and he will not be available for Mahesh Babu.
The superstar already discussed with ‘KGF’ director Prasanth Neel and this might be speeded up.
