Giving back to roots is the central theme in Mahesh Babu’s last film, Srimanthudu, in which he played the role of a good Samaritan. Taking inspiration from the film , the actor adopted two backward villages – one each in Andhra and Telangana. One of them is Burripalem which is his ancestral village. He decided to modernize the backward village by organising various developmental activities.
Due to his busy schedules, he couldn’t make it to the place and instead, his wife Namrata has been overseeing the ongoing programmes very often. A few days ago, she visited the place and conducted a medical camp. Today afternoon, Mahesh Babu paid a visit to Burripalem to meet the residents and interact with them personally to know about the amenities that are required to be provided at the earliest possible.
Mahesh Babu was given a warm reception by the villagers and he will start interacting with them in a while. Telugu360 will keep you updated more about the visit.
