It is a known fact that Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu was born and brought up in Chennai. This is one of the reasons why he has a special liking for Tamil Nadu and Kollywood. He has a good fan base among Tamil audience and is often gets fascinated with Tamil films and other events there.
In recent times, Mahesh Babu’s fascination for Tamil films is clearly evident from his social media posts. In Twitter, where is quite active, he is often appreciating Tamil movies. Recently, he took to Twitter to heap praises on Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. Last week, he gave thumbs up to the trailer of Shankar’s 2Point0 and his latest post is about Murugadoss’ recent release Sarkar. Not just movies, Mahesh also extended support to the debatable Jalli Kattu festival of Tamil Nadu.
What surprised everyone is that Mahesh didn’t tweet anything about Andhra’s special status and the disastrous Titli cyclone which ravaged the coastal part of our state. Many are criticizing that Mahesh Babu didn’t respond about critical issues that prevailed in our state, but has time to react on Tamil films and issues.
