Reportedly, Suriya’s upcoming science fiction revenge drama, 24, was initially offered to Prince Mahesh Babu. Vikram Kumar, who is the director for the film, approached Mahesh with full draft. It is learnt that Mahesh Babu liked the first half, but turned down the offer as he was not completely satisfied with the second half.
Vikram Kumar then approached Suriya who has grabbed the offer as the script is unusual but fantastic which has a good scope to unleash his acting skills. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up recently and the first look posters which were released recently raised the curiosity of the audience. Suriya will be seen in three roles in the film. Samantha and Nitya Menon are playing the female leads in the film. AR Rahman is the music director. The film is slated to hit the screens in Summer.
