Micromax, prominent mobile hand held sets manufacturer has announced to invest Rs 300 Cr to develop three manufacturing units in Telangana, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh. Until now the company importing the components to make mobile sets from China.
Prominent mobile hand sets company Micromax has announced to infuse a Rs 300 Cr investment in Indian market to establish manufacturing units in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana states. The mobile manufacturer has so far outsourcing the components of the mobile handsets from China. With the new investment, the company said that it would develop each of the three manufacturing units with an investment of Rs 100 Cr. While the units in Telangana and Rajasthan are spread in about 20 to 25 acres, another manufacturing unit will be coming up in Tirupathi, it said. Each plant would create direct employment to 3500 people, Micromax said.
