Manchu Manoj is set to don the avatar of an LTTE Commander in his upcoming film Okkadu Migiladu, and we hear the story is entirely based on incident that happened during the LTTE war of the ‘90s.
It is learnt that the film will be a period drama which will go to and fro from the times of the LTTE to the contemporary world of today.
Directed by Ajay Andrews Nuthakki, the film is being made on a huge budget and apparently, a single war sequence was shot at a budget of Rs 75 lakhs. With a crew of nearly 600 junior artistes, the film is being shot in Vizag and around 30% of the shoot has been wrapped up.
High octane sequences involving boats and aircrafts, are being shot in the port city because the director seems to have liked the greenery there. The film is going to be dubbed into Tamil as well. Regina Cassandra is the female lead in this drama.
