Akkineni Nagarjuna’s romantic drama Manmadhudu 2 and Adivi Sesh’s suspense thriller Evaru are getting ready to hit the screens in August. The overseas rights of both these films have been bagged for a decent price by a noted distribution house in USA. While Manmadhudu 2 has fetched 1.7 Crores, Evaru has been snapped for 1.35 Crores.
Manmadhudu 2 is directed by Rahul Ravindran and has Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead. The fun filled romantic trailers have piqued the interest of audience and Nagarjuna’s age defying looks have already been a talking point in audience. The film is billed as a follow-up to Nag’s role in his iconic comedy hit Manmadhudu. Trade circles are expecting that the film will cut across all sections of audience. The makers have locked August 9th as the release date.
Adivi Sesh has cultivated the habit of delivering sensible and path breaking films in recent times. He is once again coming up with another intriguing subject with Evaru. Directed by Venkat Ramji, the film has Regina Cassandra and Naveen Chandra in significant roles. The film is said to be a thriller laced with interesting premise and riveting screen play. As Adivi Sesh’s recent films performed well at box office, Evaru is doing good pre release business in all areas.
