Maoist party warned that ruling Telugu Desam party was trying to protect its MLAs, MLCs and others from being implicated in the Call Money cum Sex Racket. In an open letter to the government of Andhra Pradesh, signed by party leader Shyam, released yesterday the Maoists said instead of acting on the culprits, the TDP government in Andhra Pradesh was trying to divert the attention of the people from the case by talking about statistics of cases booked, number of people arrested and the parties they belonged to. The naxal party warned that it would try the accused in the Call Money racket in the people’s court if the government failed to act on the culprits.

Maoists raised four points:

* TDP should stop its political drama in call money cum sex racket
* TDP should stop shielding the culprits in the racket
* Decide whether you take action or leave it to us
* We will finish them in the people’s court
