Bellamkonda Suresh’s son Sreenivas is four films old and none of his films ended up as commercial hits. There are strong speculations that the youngster is being paid a remuneration of Rs 5-6 crores for his upcoming projects. However Tollywood circles are left surprised why the youngster being paid so much without tasting a commercial success. The actor’s first film Alludu Seenu has been produced by his father on a budget of Rs 40 crores and the film struggled to touch Rs 25 crores mark. The film has been promoted lavishly and Sreenivas received decent response for his performance.
His second film Speedunnodu ended up as a dud and it was made on a small budget. Boyapati Srinu has been roped in to direct the actor’s third film Jaya Janaki Nayaka which has been made on Rs 40 crores budget. The film collected a theatrical share of just Rs 22 crores in its final run leaving the makers in hefty losses. Now Sreenivas is all set to test his luck with Saakshyam which has been carrying massive expectations.
The movie directed by Sriwass too has been planned on a huge budget of Rs 40 crores and the makers recovered Rs 38 crores through the theatrical, satellite and digital rights of Saakshyam. The film should perform exceptionally well to recover the investments and leave the buyers in safe zone. Sreenivas has been promised Rs 5 crores as remuneration for Saakshyam. His father Bellamkonda Sreenivas acquired the Nizam rights of the film for Rs 7 crores and he paid Rs 2 crores for the makers without taking the remuneration.
Sreenivas signed a film for Anil Sunkara which is directed by Teja. The actor has been paid Rs 1 crore as advance. If the film’s business crosses Rs 40 crore mark, Sreenivas will be paid Rs 5 crores more as remuneration. If the film misses the Rs 40 crores, the actor will take Rs 4 crores as remuneration. With no commercial success, Bellamkonda Sreenivas is managing to impress filmmakers and is busy with back to back projects. He pinned many hopes on Saakshyam which is a crucial film in his career. Many calculations are completely dependent on the success of Saakshyam which is releasing on July 27th across the globe.
