From times old, there is a talk that heroines who go glamorous for the silver screen will get lots of opportunities. That is a wrong notion though as film industry always proved that some heroines don’t get offers even after they sizzled in the most seductive way on the silver screen.
This talk emerged after Evaru became a successful film at the box office and Regina’s acting quotient along with that glamorous look got applause. That led to debate if she will become the pick of top heroes now. It will not be that way because as there are many heroines out there who made a splash with their debut but still waiting for the big break.
The likes of Payal Rajput who shot to huge fame with RX100 are struggling to get a biggie, while Nidhi Aggarwal who is in the buzz always for her glamorous treats still didn’t bag a big film after iSmart Shankar worked well for her. The key here is, meeting producers and directors, through managers and directors.
Yes, the likes of Samantha and Kajal made it sure during the initial days of their career that they meet everyone in the industry, just like that. Directly asking them for offers is not at all a bad thing, as it is like a submitting a resume to a company hoping for a job offer. With these young heroines simply banking on the hype around them, how will big offers fly their way?
Also, if Tollywood has proper casting setup, maybe more heroines would have found work easily. These very same heroines actually go to Mumbai to give auditions, but here they simply expect big heroes to pick them up.
