Tollywood audience and Mega fans are left puzzled after a bunch of family members from Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy’s family protested before Ram Charan’s office demanding huge money for the rights of the film. Telangana High Court clarified that they could not halt the film’s release and it asked the makers to go ahead. For the first time, Megastar Chiranjeevi opened up about the controversy.
“The descendants of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy are very innocent and they never demanded any compensation for the rights. They are completely misguided by someone. Demanding Rs 50 crores is something unusual” said Megastar during the promotions of Syeraa. He even clarified that there was no agreement made between them and the family of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. He reminded about Supreme Court’s decision of making a biopic of any personality that is over 100 years old and the legal heirs need not be paid.
Syeraa directed by Surendar Reddy is hitting the screens on October 2nd. Konidela Production Company bankrolled the film. Nayanthara is the leading lady and Amitabh Bachchan, Anushka, Jagapathi Babu, Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannaah, Kicha Sudeep played other crucial roles in Syeraa.
