Megastar Chiranjeevi is finally making his comeback to mainstream cinema after a gap of nine years and the movie has been tentatively titled Kathilantodu. A remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaththi, the movie is being directed by mass specialist VV Vinayak. The first schedule of the film has been wrapped up recently and the second schedule of Kathilantodu is happening in the outskirts of Hyderabad in a specially erected set.
Mega fans are eagerly waiting for the movie which is carrying homogeneous craze all over. As per the latest update, the movie has been doing outstanding pre-release business all over the telugu speaking states. The business has been closed in some of the regions which include Ceded and East Godavari. Popular producer NV Prasad acquired the Ceded rights for a massive price of Rs 12 crores which is huge. Anushree Pictures grabbed the East Godavari rights for a record price of Rs 5.5 crores.
Top producer Dil Raju is competing to acquire the Nizam rights of the movie for a price of Rs 20 crores. Abhishek Pictures is also giving tough competition for Dil Raju to grab the Nizam rights of the movie.Ramcharan is producing Kathilantodu on Konidela Production Company banner and the film will hit the screens during January 2017.
