Election commission banned MIM party in Mahastra,MIM out from elections
Election Commission banned MIM party from participation in upcoming civic polls . EC cited the reason of non-submission of mandatory audit documents to the commission in stipulated time. EC said that the party was already warned of being barred due to non-submission of documents.
Whereas MIM party MLA Pathan claimed that the party already submitted requisite documents to EC. He told to media that the party will respond after getting official letter from EC. It is known that MIM is gaining ground in Maharashtra where Mulsim population is large and in some areas their number is decisive factor for victory.
Of late, AIMIM is spreading its base in Maharashtra on rapid pace. It growing popularity among Muslims had left BJP Shiv Sena red faced. Fearing the major chunk of Minority votes would pump to AIMIM kitty, BJP might exercise its influence to ban from civic polls.
Now, AIMIM left with no option to field its candidates as independents. If ban is lifted then it will go to Muslim people with sympathy factor. And if it is not lifted, it will raise its voice against BJP for turning intolerant against Muslims.
