Municipal Administration Minister Botsa Satyanarayana once again hurled insults and abuses on the Amaravati Capital City. He said that a capital city should not be meant for promoting the interests of one particular caste only. Botsa clarified that a new experts’ committee will be formed soon to study the identification of new capital. The public opinion will be taken into consideration before deciding the capital. The committee members will visit all parts of the state to take wider public opinion.
Botsa also said that their government had paid dues to the Amaravati farmers. The sites will be allotted to them soon through lottery system. Botsa’s comments created enough confusion. Already, YCP leaders hinted at shifting Capital to Mangalagiri town. Now, the government is talking about a new committee. Under the present government, it seems like the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing.
Botsa’s latest comments once again asserted that the construction of buildings would be very costly in Amaravati. It requires 100 feet foundation because of the nature of soil. No doubt, CM Jagan and his ministers are tearing down Andhra like the children would crush sand castles built on a beach.
