Andhra Pradesh Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu made headlines for attending the House despite being unwell. The minister, who was seen with a cannula in his hand, participated in the discussions, particularly addressing questions related to the construction of the Gorakallu Reservoir protection wall. His dedication to duty, even while battling fever, drew both concern and admiration from fellow legislators.
During a break, Minister Nara Lokesh engaged in a light-hearted conversation with Rama Naidu, urging him to prioritize his health. Lokesh humorously remarked, “If you’re going to risk your health for work, I’ll have no choice but to suspend you from the House.” He emphasized the importance of rest, suggesting that proper sleep and relaxation are essential for recovery. Lokesh even joked about monitoring Rama Naidu’s sleep using his Apple Watch if he refused to take a break.
Rama Naidu, however, reassured Lokesh that his health was stable and that he felt well enough to attend the session. He shared that he had been feeling better since the previous day, which prompted his decision to participate. Despite his assurances, Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishnan Raju and BJP member Vishnu Kumar Raju also joined Lokesh in urging the minister to take some time off to recuperate.
Lokesh, known for his practical approach to managing stress, shared his personal routine of watching TV for 15 minutes to unwind after a hectic day. He suggested Rama Naidu try a similar method to relax and recharge. The exchange highlighted the importance of balancing work commitments with personal well-being, especially for public figures handling demanding roles.
