The controversial TDP MLA Chinthamaneni Prabhakar’s `highhanded’ behaviour is continue to be a point of grave concern for TDP leadership. Earlier various sections, include revenue officials and media personnel protested against his abusive behaviour. Even his own party leaders accused him of interfering into their matters.
Now it is the time for the district minister Peethala Sujatha, who had registered her strong protest against the MLA attending a programme in her constituency, without her knowledge. This became a big contentious issue at the district TDP coordination committee meeting held last evening in Eluru.
The Minister for Women Empowerment questioned the second-time MLA and also government whip Prabhakar that why he had attended for inauguration of a cinema theatre in her constituency. She objected as she theatre owners invited Prabhakar, without inviting her being the local MLA.
But, he has reportedly given a blunt response stating that “They invited me, I didn’t take permission from the minister.” He also made it clear that he would go whichever place, if he was invited. Even he clarified that he need not to inform any one about his visits.
She became angry and challenged him to come again to her constituency Chinthalapudi. “I will not spare if you try to behave like this as this constituency is reserved for SCs”, she warned.
The district incharge minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu tried to pacify both of them and wondered that how Prabhakr goes to a constituency, without the knowledge of the local MLA.
