Congress Telangana leader and Sangareddy MLA Jagga Reddy is known for his controversial and straightforward comments in Telugu states’ politics. His comments on KCR are particularly popular in both states. Jagga Reddy has made interesting comments on AP this time. He predicts that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu will become CM again in the coming election just because he has got vision to develop the state.
Jagga Reddy says AP state will have development on par with other states only when a progressive leader like Naidu is its chief minister. He has also asserted that it was Naidu whose leadership had shaped modern Hyderabad city with fast track development and progress. Many Telangana leaders have been acknowledging Chandrababu’s contributions to Hyderabad development as an IT and software hub which catalysed its growth as a metropolitan city.
In the process, Jagga Reddy came back to his favourite subject of criticising Telangana CM Chandrasekhara Rao. The Congress MLA took objection to KCR bringing the topic of Special Category Status to the forefront at this crucial juncture. Jagga Reddy asked how could KCR make such demands when he had not talked about this status issue at the time of formation of separate Telangana state.
