AP State BJP Leader and firebrand Somu Veerraju once again took the form of a fire-breathing dragon. The BJP MLC said, ‘having an alliance with a party like TDP, had an adverse effect on the BJP party. They gave me a worthless (useless) post in the form of MLC, and are behaving as if they have done a favour’.
He further went on to make sarcastic comments on the comments made by Chandrababu Naidu and TDP leaders about the 3-day CII Partnership Summit 2018 in Vishakhapatnam. ‘According to TDP, MoUs worth more than 4 lakhs crores have been signed as a part of the CII Partnership Summit. They also added that more than 5 lakh employment opportunities are likely to be created.
If that is the case, then why does Andhra Pradesh need Special Category Status? If Andhra Pradesh GDP rate is so good, Chandrababu Naidu can take a loan from the Centre,’ said BJP MLC Somu Veerraju.
Somu Veerraju’s statements against TDP are appalling. With Cabinet Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju (TDP) hinting at a TDP – BJP alliance in 2019 AP Assembly elections, the state BJP leader’s comments are hinting towards a completely different scenario.
