Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Hyderabad, later this week to inaugurate the three-day conference of Directors-General of Police (DGP) of all states to be held at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy here from November 25.
According to official sources, he will be in the conference for the first two days and may not take part in any other programmes. However, Telangana Chief Minister K Chadnraseodi, local BJP leaders and few others are likely to meet him.
It is the annual conference of Directors-General of Police. All DGs of all states will attend. Apart from Prime Minister, Union Home Minister and the two Ministers of State for Home are also coming
The conference will focus on issues such as terrorism and cyber-crime, the officer said. The conference was held at Rann of Kutch in Gujarat last year.
