Indirectly targetting the previous Congress government, PM Modi now says Pakistan Air Force would have suffered heavy damages if India could get and use Rafale jet fighters in recent conflict. Modi’s allegation is that there was considerable delay in acquisition of Rafale jets because of the Congress party. PM says Indian Air Force hunted down enemy jets and in the process one Indian aircraft was attacked by Pakistani jets.
If India used Rafale jet fighters in the recent attack, this would have caused such damage to enemy that not one single aircraft of Pakistan would have escaped. These statements of Modi forced the Congress party to criticise that the BJP and PM are suspecting the efficiency of the armed forces.
But Modi immediately launched counter attack on rivals. He says the BJP government will make untiring efforts to hunt down terrorists and boldly eliminated them. The present air strikes on terror camps in Pakistan cannot be termed as election-inspired. Modi recalled that in 2016 also, India courageously launched surgical strikes on terrorists and at that time there were no elections of any sort.
