I fondly remember a story shared by my friend who wanted to meet the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Damodardas Modi. He believes that it is easier to meet the PM, than meeting his University’s Chancellor. When asked why, he said, ‘my University’s Chancellor is busy looking after various aspects related to the University.
Whereas our PM is busy campaigning for BJP party in Karnataka Elections. All that you need to do is, be present in his rally. Speak to the local Chota BJP leaders, and do something stupid in support of BJP, and you might get a chance to meet Modi & Co.’.
Though this did not seem convincing to me, my friend still had a point. What is Modi doing in recent times? Or, better say, during any state assembly elections? He is busy campaigning for BJP party. So, is Modi campaigning for BJP as Prime Minister of India, or as a BJP party worker?
Did the majority vote for BJP, so that PM can be their official campaigner? Their trump card? People should think about it. The same goes for every PM who campaigned for their respective parties, keeping the governance aside for a while!
After all, we live in Incredible India! It happens macha! It happens!
