Dialogue King Mohan Babu faced criticism from the TDP leaders on the issue of continuing students suicides in Telangana state. Mohan Babu attacked Chandrababu Naidu government on the alleged non payment of fee reimbursement arrears. Recalling it, the TDP leaders asked why the actor is keeping silent when so many intermediate students are committing suicides in Telangana. Finally, Mohan Babu broke his silence but along expected lines.
He came in defence of the KCR government saying that Telangana government is responding on the suicides issue. Soon, they will give strong punishment to the guilty persons. Mohan Babu’s defending words came at a time when the opposition parties and student associations are on the agitation path there. The dialogue king obviously reacted to the TDP leaders’ criticism though belatedly. He made an emotional appeal to the students not to take extreme step as human life is precious. He further said that as the head a huge educational institution, he knew the aspirations of students but one should not cause grief to their parents, brothers and sisters by taking hasty steps.
