Working with Mohan Babu, a veteran of over 500 films is no joke. So how would be the sets when an actor as young as his son playing his co-star> Allari Naresh and Mohan Babu’s combination is said to put the screen on fire with their inimitable punches and dialogue delivery. Naresh says the biggest challenge was matching up to the unique intonation. “Mohan Babu is a maverick when it comes to dialogue delivery. He’ll stress on an unexpected word which is his way of delivering comedy. For instance, take a line ‘Ippudu nuvvu ekkada nunchi ostunnavu?’ (Now where are you coming from?). Most actors would stress on ippudu (now) but he will stress on ekkakda (where). And so, I have to reply something like, ‘Nenu akkada nunchi ostanu’ (I’m coming from there) but with a stress on akkada (there). It was a master class in dialogue delivery,” he adds. The film is touted to be a Allari Mogudu 2. It is also the first time Meena and Ramya Krishna will be overshadowed by their male-costars.
