Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham wrote a letter to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for purportedly publishing a book with the help of a leading vernacular daily against him and Kapu community.
The former Minister attacked Chandrababu and alleged that unlike the TDP chief he is not corrupt. He not only termed the CM a liar but also said alleged that he has a criminal record. He said that the TDP government is trying to create turmoil among the Kapus by instigating the BCs against them.
He launched a personal attack against the CM by saying that he doesn’t have a record of throwing sandals at father-in-law and conspiring to destabilise the government for power.
He revealed that the TDP leader sent messengers to convince him to contest as Member of Parliament. Mudragada alleged that he was offered to 20 crores plus Rajya Sabha seat and later he was offered 10crores and MP seat from Kakinada by the emissary.
He said that wherever and whenever he hits the roads to stage dharna or rally, police are enforcing section 30 and 144. The Kapu leader also said unlike the old Padmanabham but a reformed one.
Mudragada quoting the book, said it was mentioned in the book that if Kapu leader Nalla Suryachandra Rao was alive, the BC reservation for Kapus would have be given. He further suggested that he would step down and elevate Rao’s wife if the government is ready to give the reservation.
He said that he would continue to fight even if he is tortured, beaten up by the police or any number of such books are published against him.
