That Megastar Chiranjeevi and VV Vinayak will come together for the Telugu remake of Tamil hit Kaththi is a known news. Tentatively titled Kathilantodu, the film will be produced by Ram Charan Tej on Konidela Productions banner.
According to the fresh update, the film will be formally launched on the 29th of this month in Hyderabad. A close source to the unit confirmed that the official statement will be out today evening. VV Vinayak has been working on the script from a long time and he has made sensible changes to the Telugu version to suit the flavour of the audience here. Expectations are high among the audience as this is the prestigious 150th film of Chiranjeevi who is making a comeback after a brief hiatus.
Recently, VV Vinayak met Chiru and narrated the complete draft. It is learnt that Chiru is happy with the changes made by Vinayak and thanked him. With everything in place now, the project might start rolling soon. The cast and crew will be announced shortly. Devi Sri Prasad will score the tunes.
