It is well known that legendary music composer MS Viswanathan, who is fondly called as MSV by the South Indian filmdom, passed away last Tuesday due to an age related health ailment. He composed music for more than 750 films across various regional languages of the South. Many luminaries from the film fraternity grieved the loss of the legendary composer and paid condolences to him.
Music maestro Illayaraja shared a good rapport with MSV and collaborated with him for a number of compositions in the early days of his career. As a special tribute to MSV, Illayaraja will organize a special concert on the 27th of this month. This concert will take place in Chennai and 30 most popular songs which are set to tune by MSV will be played by Illayaraja in this concert. It is also heard that a bunch of musicians who worked with MSV will attend the concert. The concert is titled ‘Ennulle Ulla MSV’.
