YSRC senior leader Dr MV Mysoora Reddy denied having said anything on stir on statehood for Rayalaseema. He said neither had he spoken to any correspondent on the subject, nor any one contacted him for an interview on the so called Rayalaseema separate state movement. He issued a statement this evening denying the reports of his possible leadership of movement.
“An interview, purported to be given by me, has been published in the columns of an English daily today, with the title, ‘Now, stir for Seema Statehood’. It has really baffled me owing to the fact that I was neither interviewed by their correspondent nor by any staffer of the daily. I wonder and seek to know as to how the English paper could publish a lengthy Q&A attributing it to me, while the fact is; I was not being interviewed at all. In this connection, I would like to state that I am in no way concerned with the said interview or its content, whatsoever,” he said.
