In what could be a rare box office clash, Akkineni star couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are going to compete with their upcoming films Shailaja Reddy Alludu and U Turn. Both these films are slated to hit the screens on September 13th on the eve of Vinayaka Chaviti festival.
As the release date is fast approaching, both Chay and Sam are gearing up to promote their respective films bigtime. Reportedly, they will take part in promotional activities together. As it is rare instance that a husband and wife vie at box office, both stars have decided to mutually promote each other’s films.
Shailaja Reddy Alludu was supposed to release in August, but the delay in post production pushed the date to September 13th. The makers of U Turn also locked the same date after getting a nod from Samantha. As both films are of different genre, they are hoping that audience will embrace them equally though they are releasing on the same day.
