Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film in the direction of Gautham Menon, will play the lead role in the Telugu remake of Malayalam smash hit, Premam. Chandoo Mondeti will wield the megaphone for this project. Majnu is the title which is under consideration for this official remake.
As per the fresh reports, the film will be formally launched on the 30th of November. The regular shooting will commence from the first week of December and the film is slated to release for Summer. It will be shot extensively in Vizag, Goa and Araku. The unit will then head to Europe to can a couple of songs.
The final confirmation about the remaining cast and crew is yet to be received.
