Akkineni Nagarjuna, who has had a wonderful year so far with back to back blockbusters in the form of Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri, is currently busy shooting for a devotional film in the direction of Raghavendra Rao. Titled Om Namo Venkatesaya, the film has Nagarjuna playing the role of Hathiram Baba, a staunch devotee of Lord Venkateswara.
The latest update we hear is that the unit has wrapped up the first schedule after shooting some crucial scenes in the special temple set erected in Hyderabad. It is learnt that the unit is very happy with the output so far. The team will take a short break before commencing its next schedule. The film features Anushka, Pragya Jaiswal and few other prominent faces in crucial scenes.
Mahesh Reddy is producing the film and MM Keeravani is composing the tunes.
