Naga Chaitanya’s Savyasachi, which is in the last leg of production, is aiming for release in the last week of May. As many other big ticket films are scheduled for release in April and May, the makers of Savyasachi have been eyeing May 24/25 as ideal dates for release. However, they are now put in a dilemma with the announcement of the release date of Nag’s upcoming film.
According to an official statement, Nag’s Officer has been confirmed to hit the screens on May 25th. The RGV directional is fast wrapping up its shooting formalities. As RGV and Nag cannot afford to miss the Summer season given that the film is a pure commercial entertainer with plenty of action backdrop, they have decided to release the film on May 25th.
The makers of Savyasachi cannot speed up things to release it before May and also they may face shortage of theatres due to heavy releases. With not many options left, Savyasachi might be pushed to June or further.
