Ever since the much hyped debut failed, Akhil Akkineni has remained tight lipped about his second project. Many names have done the rounds, but none have been confirmed so far.
Recently, Vamshi Paidipally’s name has been doing the rounds and we have reported about this a few days ago.
Today, the news was confirmed in an unofficial way by Nagarjuna himself. Speaking at a media interaction for ‘Oopiri’, Nagarjuna confirmed that Akhil’s second film would be in Vamshi Paidipally’s direction. The movie will be produced by Annapurna Studios.
Nagarjuna made these comments on the sidelines of the event. The film will reportedly be a romantic entertainer and Nagarjuna will produce the film on a lavish scale.
Let us hope Akhil proves his worth with his second film.
