Akkineni Nagarjuna teamed up with legendary filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao for yet another devotional film titled Om Namo Venkatesaya which is based on the god-man Baba Hathiram, a fervent devotee of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. The film boasts an ensemble cast in the form of Anushka, Pragya Jaiswal, Anushka Shetty , Vimala Raman and Saurabh Raj Jain.
The film’s shoot is progressing at a brisk pace from the past few weeks and the unit is currently canning some important scenes in Chikmagalur district of Karnataka. Nagarjuna and the remaining cast are taking part in the shoot. This schedule will be wrapped up by the end of this week and the unit will return to Hyderabad for the next schedule which commences next month.
Raghavendra Rao has retained his favourite composer MM Keeravani to render the soundtrack for the film. Renowned cinematographer S Gopal Reddy is handling the camera and Mahesh Reddy is bankrolling the film.
