Akkineni Nagarjuna is back to mainstream cinema with his latest movie Om Namo Venkatesaya which has been busy with the pre-production work from the past few months. This will be the fourth devotional film with director K Raghavendra Rao after Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Shirdi Sai. Nagarjuna took enough time to shape up for the character and his natural look will be the major highlight of the film. Nag will be seen as Hathiram Baba in the movie who is a disciple of Lord Venkateswara.
The shoot of the movie is currently going on in a specially erected set in Hyderabad and the whole movie unit has been shooting for the film with utmost devotion. The makers unveiled the title of Om Namo Venkatesaya through a video link on youtube which showcases the logo of the title. Vimala Raman and Pragya Jaiswal are the female leads in Om Namo Venkatesaya and Anushka will be seen in a cameo.
MM Keeravani is the music composer and JK Bharavi penned the script of the film. Sai Krupa Entertainments are producing Om Namo Venkatesaya which will hit the screens during February next year. Nag has been riding high with back to back hits Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri that released this year.
