Anantapur MP J C Divakar Reddy described chief minister Chandrababu Naidu as Karmajeevi (man of action). ” Everybody loves his own grandchildren more than his wife and son or daughter.
They love to spend time with grandsons and granddaughters . The joy of being grandfather is greatest in life. But, our chief minister is sacrificing this for the sake of the state. So I call him as Karma-jeevi,” he said.
JC is aware that people sitting around there would not take it seriously. He repeatedly pleaded with chief minister and others that he was speaking from his heart of hearts and the the CM was unique among the CM the state had had earlier.
This happened on Thursday in Vijayawada in the program organized to invite Budda Rajasekhar Reddy, a YSRC MLA from Srisailam, Kunool district, into TDP. Chief minister Naidu admitted him into the party by offering yellow kanduva.
JC said he knew all the previous chief ministers, but Naidu stands out as the best one. JC was especially happy with Naidu’s irrigation schemes.
JC asked the chief minister had he ever spent some good time with his grandson. JC said nobody would be left in YSR Congress. ” The reservoir suffered breach. Why and how it happened nobody knows. But the water is flowing out. Not a drop will remain in the pond, ” he said referring to desertions from YSRC into TDP. Another significant remark JC made was that Budda had brought ‘Reddy’ tag to TDP. ” Now all Reddys are with TDP,” he declared.
JC, who is an aspirant for a berth in the union council of ministers in case Sujana Chowdary doesn’t get Rajya Sabha nomination next month, said Anantapur would soon become ‘Konaseema of Rayalaseema’ once the irrigation projects were completed.
Budda Rajasekhar Reddy pushed the number of YSRC MLAs, who joined the TDP, to 14 while Jagan was camping in New Delhi on his fight against defections.
Thanking for CM Naidu for admitting him into TDP, Budda Rajasekhar Reddy said his constituency had not seen any development in recent past.
” Srisailam is knows across the world as a famous Siva Temple. but, the constituency is one of the most backward regions in the state. During the days of NTR, the constituency was the beneficiary of his plan to bring Krishna water to Rayalaseema. Pothireddypadu head regulator was the evidence. After that the constituency suffered neglect,” he said.
Justifying his crossing to TDP, Budda said he was joining the TDP convinced of CM Naidu’s commitment to develop the state.
