Chief Minister Y S Jagna Mohan Reddy and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu have started their tour of the cyclone hit areas of the state on Friday.
Chandrababu Naidu started his tour at Nandivelugu of Tenali in Guntur district. He would visit the damaged areas, hold talks with the farmers on the damage caused to the crops. He would also visit a couple of places in the Tenali region before moving on to the Bapatla district. He would stay for the night in Bapatla, tour the district and move on to Prakasam district.
Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy started his tour in Tirupati district. He would visit Bali Reddy Palem in Vakadu mandal of Tirupati district. He would meet the farmers, inspect the damaged crops and then move on to see the damage caused to the Swarnamukhi river bund. He would hold talks with the farmers and the officials on the damage caused to them.
The chief minister would also meet the cyclone hit people and enquire with them about the relief operations of the state government during the cyclone.
The chief minister would then visit Bapatla district. He would visit Marruproluvaripalem village of the district and meet the people. He would also inspect the damaged crops and talk to the farmers on the loss.
The chief minister would make an assessment of the damage caused to every department including the farming community. He would talk to the farmers in both the Tirupati and Bapatla districts, before reaching his camp office in Tadepalli today.
