TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu reached Begumpet airport in Hyderabad on Wednesday morning. Party senior leaders saw him off at the Gannavaram airport, as he went to Hyderabad along with his wife Bhuvaneswari.
The party leaders, activists and the IT employees welcomed Chandrababu Naidu at the airport. They gathered in large numbers to welcome the leader. As the court restricted him from speaking to the media, Chandrababu Naidu just waved his hands at the crowd and went away.
He went to his house in the Jubilee Hills area. He will be visiting the AIG hospital on Thursday where he will undergo a health checkup. He is likely to have a body check up in the hospital as he was in jail for 52 days.
Meanwhile, the AP high court heard arguments on both sides on the petition filed by the APCID imposing more restrictions on Chandrababu Naidu, who is on interim bail. The CID advocates wanted the court to restrict Naidu from speaking to the media.
The CID advocates gave a CD of video clips in which Chandrababu Naidu was speaking to the media at Rajamahendravaram after coming out of the jail. The CID also wanted the court to restrict Naidu from meeting people during the bail period.
The CID told the court not to permit Chandrababu Naidu to address public meetings or hold party meetings during this period.
However, rejecting the petition, advocates for Chandrababu Naidu said that the courts have permitted even the convicted persons to speak to the media. The petition was against the fundamental right of Chandrababu Naidu, the advocates told the court.
“Speaking to the media and addressing public meetings would not have any impact on the case and its inquiry,” Chandrababu Naidu’s advocates told the court.
On hearing the arguments, the court reserved the judgement and posted the case for November 3.
