YCP boss Jaganmohan Reddy made serious allegations of massive illegal sand mining against TDP MLAs and leaders during the Chandrababu Naidu regime. But now, there is a reversal of roles. CM Jagan has spoken of bringing a transparency policy in which every paisa out of sand mining will go to the public exchequer. No chance will be given to mafia to make quick money. by the emerging scene presents a different picture.
It is a fact that the ruling YCP leaders have taken full control over sand mining in districts. Interestingly, there is a strong competition between different groups within the ruling party for the easy money. Normal public are facing problems because of this as they have to buy at very high prices and also enough quantity is not available.
Chandrababu Naidu made a scathing attack saying that Jagan is sitting as a silent spectator while his MPs and MLAs have formed groups to make big money from illegal sand mining. Surprisingly, the ruling party leaders are fighting among themselves and they are also filing cases against each other. The officials are getting caught in the internal clashes of YCP leaders. TDP began its attack saying that YCP’s dubious sand policy has badly hit the entire real estate sector not just in Amaravati but also in other parts of the state.
